Music for hope

Last night I attended duo concert by Noriyo-san(pf) and Chinatsu-san (vn) at Salon TESSERA. The two young female musicians were so beautiful and looked as if Muse appeared. Their music was as beautiful as their appearance. They performed violin sonatas by Mozart and Schumann, lovely pieces by Kreisler and "Scherzo" by Chopin. Most impressive performance to me was Schumann's sonata, which was very deep music and full of spirit.

The concert was given under the very difficult situation after the earthquake. Noriyo-san and Chinatsu-san felt significant pressure but they decided to play to encourage people in hardship. They decided to donate all proceeds from the concert to help disaster victims. It was very nice concert. They gave us music for hope.
